20's Plenty for Brighton & Hove

Date: 3 October 2009

Target: Brighton & Hove City Council + UK Government
In order to make our streets safer, more attractive and enjoyable places to be: we, the residents of, and visitors to Brighton & Hove call for the implementation of 20mph speed limits on residential roads across the city.
Specifically we:
1. Call on Brighton & Hove City Council to implement 20mph speed limits in areas where people live, work, play or go to school.
2. Call on the UK Government to change the standard default speed limit on 'restricted roads' in built up areas from 30mph to 20mph.
