I joined the Green Party in November 2008 after becoming disenchanted by the lack of representation of the LGBT Community and
also because I care about the environment, Since joining the party I have gone on to set-up the South West LGBT Greens adding
another arm to the Green Party, I am a photographer by trade with my own business.
The Green Party for me has changed the way I think and I look forward to maybe one day being an elected councillor.

Dave Walsh
I took on the Chair of the Brighton & Hove local group in September 2009 after orgainsing the
UK's first ever Green Party
float at Brighton gay pride in August 2009.
I intend to increase our presence in the LGBT community in Brighton & Hove and the rest of the South East of England, while working with our 13 local councillors. In the past I have successfully banned a number of Hotels & B&Bs from various tourist listings for having anti same sex policies.
