Jean was a Member of the Intergroup on Gay and Lesbian Rights during the last term and probably will be again this term, although the groups have not yet been formally agreed. Jean Lambert was first elected Green Party Member of the European Parliament for London in the 1999 European elections. She was re-elected in 2004. She is one of nine MEPs representing London and one of two UK Green representatives in the European Parliament.

MEP for the South East of England
Elected in 1999, Caroline Lucas is the Green Party MEP representing the South-East of England. She sits on the European Parliament Trade and Environment Committees as well as being Vice President of the Parliament's Animal Welfare Intergroup. Her work both within the Parliament and in her constituency includes peace and human rights, international trade and development, transport, planning and health issues and animal welfare.
