South West LGBTIQ Spokesperson angered at BBC news website asking users: 'Should homosexuals face execution?

Reading the Guardian Newspaper today The South West England LGBTIQ Spokesperson and portfolio holder was angered to find that the BBC a public service broadcaster paid for by the license payer asking such an outrageous and clearly homophobic question. The Spokesperson Ryan Cleminson said on seeing the Guardian said " I find it utterly disgusting that a so called "Public" service broadcaster has even decided that "Executing homosexuals" is an acceptable question.

"Such questions allow people such as the BNP and the bigots of the UK to come out from their hiding places and make their views known, I have to question whether the website editors actually thought their decision to publish this question which is an incitement of homophobia, Its clear they haven't and if they did they don't have an ounce of decency.

I will be writing to the Director General of the BBC calling for the debate to be removed from their website and a full inquiry which should look at why and how they managed to get away with such practices.

Ryan Cleminson concluded by saying "Its not what we expect from the BBC and is another reason why the license fee should be scrapped as clearly the BBC seem to waste the money asking questions that are hurtful and offensive".
