Paul Cons presents

FLESH

Bank Holiday Sunday, the 29th August at FAC 251 The Factory

112-118 Princess St, Manchester, M1 7EN

10pm – late

20 years after FLESH revolutionized the club scene in Manchester, promoter Paul Cons is bringing back the legendary Hacienda gay night for a spectacular one-off event at Peter Hook's new club Fac 251 The Factory.

The night will feature original FLESH DJ's Dave Kendrick, DJ Paulette and Kath McD and Guy Williams, as well as spectacular stage happenings celebrating the FLESH years, with contributions by a host of stars inspired by their patronage of FLESH.

Creator Paul Cons said:

"I've been asked many times to bring back FLESH and I have always resisted. However, this time it felt right. The FLESH generation is now in it's 30's fast approaching mid- life. It's a good time to look back and celebrate our lives, yet we also need to look to the future and what comes next. I'd love the night to be a kind of 'queer reboot'

– a night of memories, passion and excitement that might inspire who knows what?! For me this isn't about nostagia – it's necessary.'

In this spirit, the evening will be raising money to support the unique work of the Albert Kennedy Trust in helping vulnerable gay homeless youth and to support the Peter Tatchell Human Rights Fund, to support Peter's work for LGBTI rights in the UK and worldwide.

FLESH BACKGROUND & HISTORY - WHAT THEY SAID

'
